Privacy Policy

Korp Muslim (“the app”) is provided free of charge by Korp Systems (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what the app does with information. In short: we do not collect, sell or share your personal data. The app has no ads, no accounts and no analytics.

1. Information we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, advertising identifier or any account information. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking software, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

2. Location

With your permission, the app uses your device’s approximate or precise location to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction. Your location is used on your device for these calculations. It is saved only on your device (to open faster next time) and is not sent to our servers — we have no servers that receive it. To show the name of your city, the app may ask your phone’s operating system (Apple or Google) to convert coordinates into a place name; that lookup is handled by the operating system under Apple’s or Google’s own privacy policy. You can instead choose a city manually, and you can turn location off at any time in your device settings.

3. Compass and motion sensors

The Qibla compass reads your device’s magnetometer and motion sensors. This data is processed live on your device, is not stored and is never sent anywhere.

4. Notifications

If you enable prayer reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. They are created and delivered by your phone; no push-notification server or token is used. You can turn them off in the app or in your device settings.

5. Data stored on your device

The app stores your preferences (city, language, theme, notification choices), your Quran bookmark and reading position, and your Dhikr counts locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the app.

6. Internet access

Prayer times, the Quran text and translations are bundled inside the app, so it works offline. The app does not send your data to us or to third parties.

7. Children

The app is suitable for all ages and contains no ads, in-app purchases or social features. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

8. Security

Because your data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us, it is protected by your device’s own security.

9. Your rights

Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. You can delete everything the app stores by uninstalling it.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date above and publish the new version on this page.
